Job Details:

The Tyson Cybersecurity Team seeks dedicated and skilled IT Operations Engineer II to participate in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The IAM team’s mission is to provide the right information to the right people at the right times and places.

The IAM team is responsible for the overall care and maintenance of Tyson Foods directories, and for efforts like single sign on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), identity & access governance (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), identity lifecycle management, and security access certifications.

The IT Operations engineer II will report directly to the IAM Development Manager. You will work closely with the Security Application Development team, along with the IAM Product Manager and the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Product Manager.

The IT Operations engineer II is responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and development for business applications. This role involves troubleshooting issues, implementing bug fixes, developing enhancements, and ensuring optimal application performance. The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills, a deep understanding of software development, and a commitment to delivering excellent user support.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support: Provide technical support for business applications, addressing user queries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot basic application problems, working with users and functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.Development and Enhancement: Develop and implement application enhancements, bug fixes, and new features based on user requirements and business needs.Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance and system health, ensuring applications run efficiently and identifying potential issues before they impact users.User Assistance: Assist users with application-related questions and provide training and documentation to help them effectively use the applications.Incident Management: Manage and prioritize incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, IT, and other stakeholders to implement application updates, patches, and enhancements.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, support procedures, development changes, and troubleshooting steps.Change Management: Participate in change management processes, ensuring that application changes are tested and deployed smoothly.Compliance and Security: Ensure that applications comply with security policies and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and safeguards.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance application support and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.Experience in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3Experience in PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries.Proficiency in Web API development and integration.Knowledge of ASP.NET and C#.NET is preferred.Knowledge of SQL Server.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of web security best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
