The IT Security Specialist reports to the IT Security Manager and is responsible for security incident management operations at Vistex in accordance with Vistex IS policies and standards. 

Responsibilities: 

Acts as a representative and contact point for IT Security queries and issues at the Vistex Hoffman Estates office in Chicago  Operates and develops procedures to ensure ISO27001 and SOC audit requirements are met  Develops, conducts and improves security processes and procedures in line with Vistex information security standards and policies  Responds to customer and partner security assessments, questionnaires and queries  Provide reports on Information Security metrics as required  As part of the IT Security function acts as an escalation point for security incidents  Actively monitors and responds to alerts and detections in Vistex’s security toolset including SIEM, endpoint protection, web filtering/DNS protection, and Office 365 alerts  Works closely with Vistex teams and manage service providers to implement security improvements, to address vulnerabilities and to respond to security issues  Works flexibly when required by projects and tasks with colleagues from other regions or when required by out-of-hours incidents  Identifies and stays informed of the latest security trends and issues through various publications and sources 

The compensation for this position is  $80k - $88k CAD.  Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills, and work experience.
