IT Senior Analyst

The opportunity

Responsibilities

Enhance Business Processes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize business processes, ensuring they align with industry best practices. Lead workshops and facilitate meetings to gather requirements and transform them into actionable system configurations.

System Support and Maintenance: Provide advanced support for our business systems, ensuring their availability, performance, and reliability. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly, while conducting regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to maintain optimal system performance.

System Implementation and Integration: Assist in the seamless implementation and integration of business systems with other enterprise applications. Support project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring successful system rollouts and smooth user experiences.

Vendor Coordination and Evaluation: Act as a key contact for business system vendors and service providers. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure optimal support and performance. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance our business functions.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide valuable insights into business activities and performance. Apply data analysis techniques to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, ensuring data accuracy and security within business systems.

User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support and training to system users, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues. Develop comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions to foster system adoption and proficiency.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience as an IT Analyst or similar role, with a focus on supporting business systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with a variety of business systems and technologies.

Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with other business applications including eProcurement Systems (e.g., Ivalua) and Contract Lifecycle Management solutions.

Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or related fields.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,250.00 CAD - $155,250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
