Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Sr. Developers in Atlanta,
Georgia.
Key
Responsibilities:
+ Design,develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software APIs andapplications within our service recovery environment.
+ Participatein the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of applications.
+ Analyzebusiness requirements to provide the technical design of computer software.
+ Useprogramming expertise in one of Delta’s standard programming languages todevelop and maintain computer software.
+ Developappropriate software and documentation according to Delta’s standards.
+ Support andtroubleshoot computer systems, optimize performance, resolve problems, andprovide timely follow-up on all problems.
+ FollowDelta’s standards and methodologies in the development and implementation ofcomputer software.
+ Design anddevelop cloud-native applications, features, and enhancements with an emphasison clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well-documented code for the fulltechnological stack.
+ Contributeto Agile development teams following 12-Factor application developmentprinciples.
+ Analyzeuser and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achievedthrough high-quality deliverables.
+ Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week. 5%domestic travel required.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of IT related work experience.
Must have experience in:
+ Four years working with Quicksight, Tableau, and Hyperion
+ Three years with AWS Cloud technologies
+ Writing and executing jobs with SQL and SAS
+ Agile principles and working in an Agile environment
+ Working with GLUE
+ Database design principles and structures to analyze and determine best structure
