Job Description:

Strategic Leader that will be driving Digital change agenda within the 2 business units in scope of the role: Mexico and Latam Seeds (Peru, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Chile). This leader will partner with Global, Regional and Functional Royal Canin teams as well as MGS to deploy business changes through Technologies in the markets.

The job holder will help to drive speed and focus through building mutual partnerships across Digital Technology towers and influencing key stakeholders across Royal Canin and Petcare. Is accountable for all Digital Technologies deliveries, operations and budget within Royal Canin in market in scope.

Also, this senior role will have an indirect line with Argentina and Brazil Associates and will contribute to their development through coaching and interactions.

• Proven experience in Digital related roles requiring influencing senior stakeholders and driving a digital agenda (i.e. identifying digital solutions to solve business problems and pushing them);

• Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship including business leaders, personnel and project leaders. Ability to create trust & credibility;

• Digital Acumen. Ability to educate non-digitally savvy leadership & staff. Understands the wider Mars IT organization and capabilities;

• Ability to create intimacy with the business. Understanding of business drivers/processes and ability to relate segment priorities to associated technology;

• Learning agility and desire to learn new technology and appetite to learn Royal Canin Mexico & LAS business models;

• Excellent written and verbal skills in English & Spanish;

• Experience working across multiple levels of an organization;

• Strong problem analysis, negotiating and influencing skills;

• Proven track record to get things done in a matrixed organization and influencing without authority;

​What will be your key responsibilities?

• Segment Alignment: Defines & owns the Digital Technologies strategy within the context of Royal Canin in Brazil for Emerging & Seeds Region strategy;

• Disrupt with Digital: Brings to life within the region business value delivery through digital capabilities;

• Digital Mindset: Drives the usage of the Mars Digital Flywheel and underlying methodologies including usage of test & learn approach, user centricity, data & analytics, Automation and AI;

• External Perspective: Brings the "outside-In" by maintaining an external network of digital professionals to deliver value faster. Contributes to build Mars Digital branding externally;

• Strategy Delivery: Accountable and acts as escalation point for Brazil and Emerging & Seeds region Digital Technologies strategy delivery (on time, in scope, on budget);

• Business Transformation: Partner with EOS team to organize and support delivery of multi-years, large scale programs to deliver efficiency, growth and people engagement;

• Capability Adoption: Drives the continuous adoption of Digital Technologies capabilities within MX and LAS. Ensure change management is in place.

Operational Excellence;

• Rationalization: Continuously challenge the status quo to drive opportunities to standardize and rationalize IT Landscape;

• Budget: accountable for Total DT Costs for geography and ensure to achieve

Business Targets;

• Service: Monitors quality of Digital Technologies service provided to MX and LAS and acts as point of escalation;
