IT Senior Manager - Payroll and Incentive Compensation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Senior Manager - Payroll and Incentive Compensation with payroll implementation experience who will lead our Sales Performance Management implementation. This IT Senior Manager will lead the IT team responsible for managing and supporting systems related to time management, payroll and incentive pay. This role involves overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of these critical business applications, ensuring they align with company objectives, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder needs. The position requires close collaboration with HR, finance, and IT teams to deliver effective technology solutions that improve time & payroll processing, compensation management, and tracking. Your experience and expertise in working with Payroll processing companies like ADP, Ceridian, etc. will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our payroll operations.  The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, exceptional attention to detail, project management and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of IT professionals supporting payroll, time management and sales performance management applications, such as payroll processing systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Ceridian, etc.) and sales performance management tools (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, SPIFF, CallidusCloud, etc.).

Develop and execute a strategic plan for system enhancements, ensuring alignment with the company's payroll and compensation processes.

Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to support end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Lead the implementation of new payroll and sales performance systems or modules, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Oversee system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to payroll processing and sales performance tracking.

Partner with cross-functional teams to support new system rollouts, training, and post-implementation support.

Collaborate closely with IT leadership and teams on implementations, enhancements, updates, and automation initiatives geared towards streamlining, improving and automating processes.

Proactively seek avenues for adopting best practices and innovative approaches to addressing problems and facilitating change in payroll and time processing.

Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure systems meet internal governance and external regulatory requirements.

Manage the data flow between payroll, HR, and sales systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting of compensation and performance metrics.

Implement automation and reporting tools to streamline the data reporting process for payroll and sales performance management.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) for optimal system performance and vendor accountability.


Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with specific experience supporting payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday Payroll, Ceridian, etc.) and sales performance management applications (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, SPIFF, CallidusCloud, etc.)

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in using HCM (Human Capital Management), Payroll and Timekeeping.

Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.  

Implementation experience with in-house payroll processing systems like Workday Payroll, SAP Payroll, PeopleSoft Payroll, etc. is highly desirable.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

** This position is hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL or Chicago, IL offices. **

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.   At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range:

$131,145.00-$196,665.00 Annual
