Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in the HR domain and a minimum of 10+ years of experience, focusing on HR Datamarts, Datahubs, cloud-based databases, and extensive knowledge of Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Snowflake, and be well-versed in Workday Public APIs, RAAS (Report-as-a-Service) reports, and data modeling.
This role demands a combination of hands-on technical expertise and exceptional leadership skills to deliver high-quality HR data solutions, engage with stakeholders, and provide thought leadership across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect cloud-based HR solutions, focusing on HR Datamarts for reporting and Datahubs for integrating multiple HR systems, ensuring scalable and reliable architectures.
Lead efforts to integrate Workday data, utilizing Workday Public APIs, RAAS reports, and other extraction techniques to support reporting and analytics.
Must have completed several end-to-end implementations, which is a mandatory requirement.
Develop and maintain data models and pipelines to ensure data consistency, accessibility, and optimal performance for reporting and decision-making processes.
Serve as a hands-on leader, providing technical direction on cloud technologies, database design, and best practices in data integration, while mentoring architects, developers, and leads.
Utilize AWS cloud services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway) and Snowflake to develop and optimize HR data solutions, ensuring top-tier performance and security.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR leadership, IT, and data governance teams, to align solutions with strategic business goals and ensure the successful delivery of HR data initiatives.
Provide thought leadership in HR technology and cloud domains, driving innovation in data management, integration strategies, and cloud adoption within the organization.
Work closely with the Data Governance team to ensure data privacy, security, and compliance across all HR data projects.
Ensure that data architecture is optimized for performance and cost efficiency within cloud environments, balancing flexibility and scalability with operational needs.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies in cloud computing, HR tech, Workday, and data integration tools, and apply these advancements to enhance HR data operations.

Extensive experience in the HR domain, with a focus on HR Datamarts, Datahubs, and data reporting for large-scale organizations.
Expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, etc.).
Proficiency in Snowflake, with experience deploying and managing cloud-based data warehouses for HR data and reporting.
Strong Workday expertise, with demonstrated ability to extract and integrate data via Workday Public APIs and RAAS reporting.
Extensive experience in data modeling, data integration, and cloud data architectures, with the ability to design scalable and optimized data pipelines.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the gap between business and technology and driving collaboration across multiple teams.
Leadership experience providing direction to architects, developers, and technical leads, fostering teamwork and ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions.
Deep understanding of data governance practices, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance across HR systems.
Ability to innovate and drive change by applying the latest trends in cloud technologies, HR tech, and data management.

Certifications in Workday, AWS, and Snowflake.
Knowledge of other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, for comparative cloud strategies.
Familiarity with advanced data analytics and AI/ML applications in the HR space.
