What will you do?

The IT Operations Engineer for IT Workplace at Aurecon plays two roles as part of the infrastructure team:

End-User Device Support: In this capacity, you'll manage Configuration Manager applications and deployment types, ensuring seamless client and device support. Your focus includes distributing content efficiently, delivering precise Application Packaging solutions, and maintaining exemplary customer service standards. Meeting SLAs and surpassing expectations are key priorities.

Collaboration Support: In this capacity, you'll ensure smooth communication and collaboration for users and clients, offering advanced interaction capabilities and comprehensive printing solutions. You'll manage and resolve all events and incidents within the Collaboration Technology Domain, collaborating with engineers to address issues and provide regular reports as per IT guidelines.

Configure and maintain Configuration Manager infrastructure to support clients, distribute content, and deploy operating systems.Manage inventory and virtual applications using Configuration Manager.Administer enterprise software, including Microsoft Office products.Deploy and manage operating systems and ensure compliance with software updates.Create and deploy Group Policy for user accounts via System Centre or Microsoft Intune.Assist with the remediation of vulnerabilities on servers by packaging its updates for deploymentDevelop a Standard Operating Environment for SCCM deployment.Deploy applications and manage collections using System Centre Configuration Manager.Adhere to incident, problem, and change management processes within SLAs.Automate installations via MSI Repackage, Transforms, and scripting.Oversee Exchange and MS Teams platforms, focusing on policy management and capacity planning.Ensure operating systems and software currency by timely application of feature and security patches.Manage OneDrive policies and oversee capacity planning.Drive service improvement initiatives across Domain, Technology, and Process to enhance customer experience and increase efficiency.

Lead asset and configuration identification efforts, contributing to Service Descriptions and SLA enhancements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred.Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Cobit, MCSE, CCNA, etc are highly desirable.SCCM required, Intune idealApplication Packaging / DeploymentSupporting issues pertaining to application deploymentPatchMyPC experience, ideal but not requiredOpen to handling Collaboration ServicesProficiency in process management and process improvement methodologies.Strong conceptual, strategic thinking, problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.Hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing support, both on-site and remotely.Ability to conduct thorough research on new technologies and concepts.Willingness to work in shifting schedules, holidays, and weekends when support coverage is required.Microsoft Certified System Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certification is

advantageous but not mandatory.
