IT Senior Systems Analyst

Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for Implementing, maintaining, and supporting LCS business systems used by various stakeholders across the organization. This position works with complex areas of the system and supports end users as a subject matter expert and consultant. This position is also responsible for leading moderately complex projects.

The Role: 

Serving as a subject matter expert and consultant, analyze and configure complex business systems solutions to align with business requirements and objectives. Partner with system users to gather and analyze user requirements, assess feasibility and impact of system changes, and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality and efficiency. Provide technical expertise and support for business systems, including troubleshooting issues, implementing system changes, and managing system upgrades. Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and user guides, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. Lead and organize system testing activities, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and overseeing user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of system changes. Lead end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support and guidance to promote system adoption and proficiency. Serve as a project lead on moderately complex projects. Create a project plan, identify training and communication needs, and lead stakeholders through execution of changes.  Stay informed about trends, best practices, and system updates to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Work directly with vendors to troubleshoot or monitor issues and resolutions while monitoring their ability to meet service level agreements.  As needed, analyze and resolve the most complex tickets escalated by the team.  Serve as a mentor for less experienced teammates. Providing training and coaching as needed. May assist with providing day to day work direction.  Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience required.  4-6 years of related experience required, with direct business systems experience preferred.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand technical documents is required.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results Business specific programming language preferred.

Travel Frequency: 0-10%

Estimated Salary Range: $83,200 – $104,000

 

The actual title and salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
