The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an IT Service Delivery Consultant Mid on Camp Pendleton, CA.  This is an opportunity to join the SMIT MCEN program helping the USMC on their mission to keep the Marine Corps connected.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for ensuring the internal processes related to Information Technology (IT) Service Management and Delivery are applied and used across the enterprise to ensure timely resolution of incidents and drive high availability.

Leverage processes, utilizing ITIL best practices, to ensure the IT organization designs, deploys, and sustains high quality, highly available solutions that align with business and IT strategic objectives.

Provide Incident, Problem, Change, and Availability Management.

Ensure that IT has the appropriate level of process definition, rigor, and reporting to deliver the highest level of availability, quality, value, flexibility, and visibility to the organization.

Experience with Hardware (HW) or Software (SW) asset management.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, or GED, with at least 4 years of related IT experience.

US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.

Must have a Comp TIA Security+ certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL certification may be required within 6 months of start.

Microsoft Install, configure, service, repair, and maintain Information Technology (IT) systems in both a stand-alone and client-server environment, including Microsoft (MS) server, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized IT systems as well as hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.

Integrate multiple Information Systems (IS) in a networked environment.

Evaluate and resolve customer IS problems.

Effect required hardware upgrades and repair to maintain mission capability.

Hourly rate $40/hour - $41.40/hour
