We deliver meaningful experiences in various internship areas like Product Development, Claims, Operations, Finance, IT, Data Analytics, and much more. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:** + The team provides a high level of visibility and overall communication to the appropriate business teams and IT service teams in terms of current projects and commitments and set clear expectations for service delivery + Provide support to shepherd new applications or major upgrades through the CTO service delivery process to successfully launch an application and transition to long term maintenance and support + Assist the team working with program managers, project managers, business owners, application owners, IT owners and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation of services – focus on value added processes for the customer + Learn to seek improvement opportunities for CTO services by reducing waste, reducing lead-time, reducing costs, while improving quality, and customer satisfaction + Provide support for CTO delivery services + Help develop management and executive reports and updates as necessary **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):** + Junior or Senior status enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program at Miles College + Qualifying majors in an academic area related to computer information systems or data analytics + Strong communication skills + Interest in project management + 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale + This position is a hybrid role and will require regular reporting to our Birmingham, AL office. + This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship _Kemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
