Job Description:
The Huntington Payment Products (Credit Card) Servicing team is seeking an IT Service Delivery Manager focusing on our various vendor applications and mainframe application. In this role, this manager will manage cross functional teams of 6-9, dedicated to providing day to day support of several applications along with working on our portfolio of payment products including consumer credit card, small business card and commercial card. They will work closely with the scrum master as well as other application delivery teams, tech services, architects, business users/owners, product managers and owners, and QA teams. This manager will provide technical leadership and guidance to the team of Java and MF developers helping team to troubleshoot as needed. The manager is responsible for resource management and will provide oversight for the team members and help to break down barriers, as well as ensure the team is focused on the priorities, manage capacity and constraints. The team follows an agile framework.
They may be engaged on incident calls, guiding the team, and making sure the team is resolving the issues and finding root cause as efficiently as possible. If critical or high incidents, this manager will be engaged on the Incident and problem ticket calls to discuss root cause and create steps on how we can prevent the issue from occurring again.
Your team is responsible for the following activities:
+ Project deliverables, for example, helping the product owner break down epics and features into user stories to be worked on
+ Design and development from the developer resources
+ Helping with test scripts and either testing or helping QA group
+ Implementation plans on project installs
+ Code changes for production issues
+ Fulfilling business data and research requests
+ 24x7 on-call support rotation and this manager will be the escalation contact for any issues
+ Incident review and resolution, including root cause analysis
+ Support of Audit finding/action plan remediation and controls testing
+ Maintaining team applications in regards to technical recovery, access control, data classification, availability and reliance and other relevant information
+ Support the implementation of infrastructure projects and upgrades
+ Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs on projects and production support changes
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
+ 7+ years of progressively responsible positions in Information Technology
+ 5+ years managing and or leading teams in specific IT functional area discipline, e.g., applications development or equivalent skills leading major technical projects with accountability for enforcing talent management needs and performance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Adept in building team relationships and partnering across organizational lines
+ Excellent collaboration skills, a positive attitude, high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and highly motivated
+ Expert in conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrating out-of-the-box problem solving skills
+ Development and/or support experience in one or more of the following COBOL, DB2, CICS, JAVA
+ Experience with batch and online processing
+ Experience with API's and RESTful services
+ Strong organization skills
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business colleagues throughout the organization
+ Experience working with vendor applications is a plus
+ Understanding of Agile framework
