Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker. Responsibilities

Job Summary:

 

The incumbent will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for documenting, maintaining, upgrading, or replacing hardware and software systems; as well as supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security and system groups.

 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.Use remote diagnostic and maintenance tools to resolve issue when appropriate.Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computers systems, hardware and peripherals.Maintain records of support activities as required by departmental policy.Work well as a member of a highly technical support team.Organized approach to daily business is required.Perform other departmental duties as may be required by Management.Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hazard free work environment.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Professional certification and 0-3 years experience in hardware, software and network diagnosticsWell developed written and verbal communication skills are required as well as a neat appearance and professional conduct.  Strong people skills combined with efficient time management skills.Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures is expected.Experience with mid-range systems is preferred as well as proficiency at operating computers and software programs. A+ Certification and one of the following MTA 349: Windows OS Fundamentals, 365: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, 366: Networking Fundamentals, 367: Security Fundamentals or MS Office Specialist Certification (At least one product is also required within 3 months of hire).

Work Environment:

 

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Maybe required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:
