Our work depends on a IT Services Consultant to build strategy, provide operational excellence, and help position GDIT as a strategic partner with the Bureau of Fiscal Service (BFS).  As a Strategic Initiatives Manager, you will promote GDIT’s brand awareness, manage new programs, and position GDIT as a strategic delivery partner. The ideal candidate has relationships with key BFS decision makers in the BFS Business Lines (Fiscal Accounting, Retail Securities, Disbursing and Debt Management) and/or CIO organizations at the Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Director and Senior Manager levels, as well as experience successfully managing major programs at the BFS. You will help GDIT continue to grow and expand new business areas, meet emerging mission needs, provide leadership and foster a high performing team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interface with the BFS leadership to align GDIT capabilities and strengths to meet mission needsDevelop and leverage relationships with key decision makers and influencersStrengthen alignment of GDIT organizational capabilities to client needsDevelop and lead program teams to develop a collaborative team cultureProviding leadership across the new business development lifecycle - from opportunity identification, qualification, and win strategy development through the post-submission phase of the Capture process. Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the “voice of the customer”, including reviews and proposal and content development

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to obtain relevant BFS clearancesBachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 10+ years of progressive Federal Civilian leadership experienceCandidates must have in-depth leadership experience supporting programs at the BFSProven experience driving culture change and leading a dynamic mission-focused teamsStrong strategic development and implementation experience, directing large teamsExperience with federal proposal processes, delivery and executionProven aptitude for teaching, coaching and mentoringTelework position, local to the DC metro area and ability to travel to customer sites, as needed, is required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $106.25 - $143.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
