In this position you will be working within the Core IT Services department, which provides an IT infrastructure platform for the business. You will be part of a global team – IT Service Management & Integration (ITSM&I), collaborating with colleagues across Europe, Asia and the U.S. The team focuses on the ownership, continuous improvement and execution of key IT processes, manages the ITSM platform (ServiceNOW), supports integration & oversight of service providers and the service transition of new applications.
What you will do:
• Own and enhance IT infrastructure DR, backup, and resilience processes, driving maturity and adoption across the organization.
• Manage critical incidents to minimize business impact, ensuring rapid resolution and leading root-cause analysis and problem management.
• Continuously improve IT services resilience, architecture, processes, and operating models.
• Develop, review, and maintain IT disaster recovery plans (DRP/TRP) to ensure service availability and swift recovery.
• Coordinate and execute IT DR tests, drills, and compliance activities with service providers and Business Resilience teams.
• Maintain clear communication between service providers and application teams to minimize confusion and ensure timely updates.
• Develop IT services DR dashboards, KPIs, reports, and decision papers for transparency and management oversight.
• Act as project manager for DR-related initiatives and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Serve as a key contact for third parties, service providers, and internal cross-functional teams.
What you bring:
Required:
• Degree in IT, IT Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 8+ years in IT infrastructure operations, ITSM, IT risk, BCM/resilience, disaster recovery, or related areas.
• Proven experience in IT resilience strategies, crisis management, and major incident handling.
• Strong understanding of RTO, RPO, SLA/OLA mechanisms in global operations.
• Skilled in translating complex tech processes into business language and decision-making documents.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM platform and its integrations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
• Excellent English communication skills: German is a plus.
Preferred:
• Experience in finance, banking, or asset management sectors.
• Multicultural, international team experience and collaboration with external providers.
• Certifications: ITIL, CISSP, CBCP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ITSCM standards (ISO 22301, 27031, etc.) and regulatory frameworks (DORA, VAIT, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills, motivated, target-oriented, and adaptable to global priorities.
