IT (Information Technology) Site Reliability – Azure Cloud Administrator

Salary: Starting $90,000/y

U-Haul is seeking an Azure Cloud Administrator to join the IT Site Reliability team. This role will be responsible for building and supporting our cloud infrastructure as we transition to a hybrid cloud environment.

Duties:

Build and Maintain Azure Cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and AnsibleHelp maintain Azure Cloud backups using CommVaultMaintain and configure Azure cloud networksWork with engineers and architects to build and support new cloud solutionsCreate standards for Azure hosting environments, as well as research and development of new processesHandle escalations to assist with complex issues in our Azure environment, including Azure Kubernetes, Azure Gateways, VM Scale Sets, etcMaintain and design new Azure Cloud automations using Azure PowerShellDevelop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a catastrophic failureManage and maintain permissions for other teamsStay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Azure cloud computingSupport and coach team members with complex technical issues via Microsoft Teams and emailWork with vendors providing professional services or supportGenerate and update comprehensive documentation for processes and standards in our environment

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

Experience with real time sync to/from Azure (Zerto, ASR, etc)Experience with Cloud backups using 3rd party products (CommVault, etc)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AnsibleExperience working in an Azure environment managing products like Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Gateways, Azure VDI’s, VM scale sets, etcExperience with Azure networkingExperience working with ExpressRoute's is a plus

Requirements:

3+ years experience in cloud platform engineering or operations2+ years experience working with PowerShell scripts and automation
