IT Software Development and Implementation Associate ( **Job Number:** IT 000137 ) **Description** JOB PURPOSE The IT Software Development Associate is responsible for performing solution development tasks related to shop operations and back-office integration along with providing technical support. RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications according to project requirements and technical specifications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Work closely with senior developers and team members to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions. Seek guidance and mentorship from experienced developers to enhance technical skills and knowledge. - Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting software issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure system stability and performance. Perform routine maintenance and updates to existing software applications, addressing bugs, and implementing enhancements. - Create and update documentation for software designs, code, and project specifications. Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project status to project managers and team leads. - Remain updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to developing best practices within the team.
