JR59234 IT Software Engineer - MES systems

Job Responsibilities:

You will involve in the application lifecycle management for software systems in a highly automated semiconductor manufacturing environment; develop, maintain, solve and support software systems for manufacturing semiconductors

Work closely with customers to understand their needs and make suggestions to resolve production and process issues

Provide technical support to customers as needed for problem identification and resolution

Deliver training, documentation, and support to end users on new tools and methodologies

Participate in verifying of new software releases with all sites to ensure smooth release of changes to production

Monitor system performance actively to identify abnormalities and develop capabilities to prevent unscheduled downtime

Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, developers and infrastructure groups across all sites

Communicate timely status to the customers, team and managers

Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation

Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/Electronic EngineeringExperience in the following areas:Developing and/or handling software applicationsDatabase technologies (such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle or similar products), and in performance and tuning for database productsLinux, Unix, Windows and OpenShift environmentGood knowledge in C#/C++ programming, Python and Perl script, with working knowledge of SQL or PL/SQLKnowledge in MES systems, and understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process will be an advantageStrong problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task and manage both individual and group tasks simultaneously, and to take initiative on system issuesGood interpersonal and communication skills. Willing to work in a dynamic team environment to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration.Willingness to work on flexible schedule, including day/night shift, overtime and occasional weekends, as assignedDomestic travel will be requiredFresh graduates are welcome to apply.
