As an IT Solution Expert, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting payroll transformation initiatives and other strategic projects within the IT P&C Payroll & Time portfolio. You will act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, ensuring solutions are robust, compliant, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Implementation & Technical Leadership:
Design, develop, and implement IT solutions for Payroll and Absence Management aligned with architectural standards and HR/P&C roadmapsConfigure, test, and deploy solutions across cloud and on-premises platformsLead system integration efforts using APIs and middleware, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperabilityEnsure adherence to data security, privacy, and compliance standardsProvide technical solution design for complex enhancements and projects, ensuring scalability and maintainabilityConfigure and validate solutions including integrations and InfoSec requirementsAct as a delivery lead for enhancements, coordinating across teams and ensuring timely deliveryEvaluate new release enhancements and vendor roadmaps to align with business needs and technology strategy
Business Analysis & Process Optimization:
Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and functional design documentsConduct process mapping, gap analysis, and propose optimized workflowsCollaborate with architects and stakeholders to assess new technologies and their fit within the existing ecosystem
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement:
Build trust and manage expectations across business and IT teamsInfluence stakeholders without direct authority through clear communication and negotiationSupport change management activities including training, adoption, and impact assessments
Project & Vendor Collaboration:
Work closely with Project Managers to align on timelines, dependencies, and deliverablesEngage with vendors to ensure solution compliance with PMI IT policies and manage performanceParticipate in blueprinting, UAT, deployment planning, and hypercare phases
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in HRIT, preferably with payroll and absence implementationsHands-on experience with SuccessFactors EC (Employee Central) or other HR Cloud solution (Workday, Oracle Fusion, etc.) from a functional perspective, including creation of functional specification design documents and test scenarios for payrollCapability of understanding the system architecture, integrations, and cloud/SaaS environments for Payroll and Time solutionStrong integration knowledge with ability to collaborate with developers and design scalable, secure solutions using SAP CPI, AWS, and encryption standards (e.g., PGP, GPG)Familiarity with Agile, ITIL, and PMP frameworks (is a plus)Experience in regional/global support environments and cross-functional collaborationProficiency with JIRA and related tools for project tracking and collaboration
Preferred Skills
Experience in transformation payroll projects from on-premises to cloud-based HR solutionsAbility to challenge vendors on technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goalsStrong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills in English
