Summary:
As an IT Solution Owner Expert, you will work in a worldwide agile team (level 3 support) and use your technical expertise to operate SAP's service and support solutions with the necessary reliability. From the IT Operation hub in Prague, Czech Republic you will closely work together with the other hubs in Germany, Americas and APA. You can quickly increase your expert knowledge on new technologies and root cause analysis and optimization secrets. We continuously adopting the lean agile methodology and touching new work movement ideas. If you proofed your expertise and skills already in level 1 and level 2 support teams, this is your opportunity to even grow further.
The Role:
You will operate, design, and develop systems, applications, products, services, and data to optimize and automate SAP’s business processes to improve work efficiency. You will engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Facilitate the system/service/product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant, and high available operations. You will engage with the business in an agile way. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
Key tasks are to manage cloud technologies like SAP Cloud Connectors and Business Technology Platform, the associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks.
You will also closely collaborate with the Remote Connectivity Team which is currently transitioning this core SAP Support application into the Cloud. A DevOps operational model will be formed with this team. Any experience you already have with Kubernetes/Kyma, managing Pipelines, monitoring/alerting using Dynatrace or SAP Cloud ALM or even already developed BTP applications yourself will be beneficial.
What you bring:
10+ years of work experience with SAP & ServiceNow Experience in SAP Technology (ABAP, SCC, BTP) and Strategy Experience in ServiceNow Technology and Strategy Experience in E2E Support Processes (Ticketing, ITdirect, customer oriented, incident management, problem management, escalations) DevOps or Software Development experienceTo apply for an IT Solution Owner Expert, you should have touchpoints to General IT technologies, not only from an application perspective. To apply you should be aware of the term “SAP System Administrator”. Probably you attended an ADM100 training already? A big plus are skills in ServiceNow Technology and Strategy. Great, if you have already touchpoints with PMI and agile methods. If you are a Developer which would like to have a look from the other side and have interests in operations this most likely would make your DevOps task more easier for you.
We expect an analytical approach, good communication skills and confidential dealing with customers and colleagues across organizational boundaries and cultural differences. English language fluently written and spoken is taken for granted.
