IT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our growing medical billing company. This role is ideal for candidates with prior IT support experience who can confidently troubleshoot, resolve issues independently, and contribute to the stability and efficiency of our systems and infrastructure. You will be the go-to resource for technical support across the organization and play a key role in maintaining our day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level and mid-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of medical billing applications, Microsoft Office, browsers, RDWEB, SFTP/FTP, and email platforms Monitor system performance and escalate outages or security issues appropriately Maintain and update inventory of IT assets and accessories Deliver timely support through phone, chat, remote access, or ticketing systems Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT personnel Create and maintain documentation such as support logs, user guides, and FAQs Support new hire onboarding (email setup, device configuration, access provisioning) Perform routine updates, data backups, and system maintenance on workstations
