Summary This position is located in the Network Administration (JNDN) organization of Infrastructure Services (JND), Enterprise Technology Operations Services (JN), Information Technology (J). A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Senior IT Specialist developing and deploying the Cisco Systems Software Defined Network/Application Centric Infrastructure (SDN/ACI) architecture, with expertise in all aspects of Enterprise IT Network Information Security Systems and technologies. Responsibilities As an IT Specialist, you will: Review information technology security policy, guidelines, and procedures for systems processing multiple applications that require differing security controls and are typically accessed by a moderate-to-large user community. Implements, and coordinates activities designed to ensure, protect, and restore IT systems, services, and capabilities. Ensures the continuing accessibility and availability of a variety of mission critical applications. Perform a variety of work involving analysis, planning, design, documentation, assessment, and management of the IT enterprise structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, and business processes of the organization. Perform a variety of work involving applying analytical processes to the planning, design and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Perform a variety of work involving planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats. This position must be a subject matter expert on and provide direct oversight of development, implementation, management and maintenance of Cisco Systems Software Defined Network Architecture/Application Centric Infrastructure (SDN/ACI) and the components of SDN/ACI to include its endpoints and policies.
