IT Specialist
The IT Specialist is responsible for the support of the Retail Outlets, Head Office and other as necessary, through the administration, configuration, and analysis of the Company’s Point-of-Sale (POS) System. The IT Specialist will provide technical support, general maintenance and recommend system enhancements on POS software and other software-related components of the company POS.

Make software and hardware recommendationsInstall, configure, and deploy multi-platform end-points, enterprise software and other 3rd party applicationsOS Provisioning, as well as creating and deploying software distribution packagesUnderstand and support the corporate network topologyCollaborate with the Client Services team, as well as other IT groupsDefines local business requirements for POS software upgrades, deployment, and system configuration updatesAnalyzes and performs research / problem resolution on any reported problemEvaluates system specifications to meet business requirements Maintains various applications, hardware and network configurations of the retail operationSupervises the implementation of new systems and report outcome to managementCreates, updates and maintains user documentationDocument and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and best practices.Shared responsibilities for user support of various systems used in the day-to-day operations of the store, including, but not limited to, POS, EDI systems, ERP interfaces and other application related to retail storesWork with Inventory Management related to POS configuration and stock reconciliationsProvide support and troubleshooting services to end users to ensure they can legitimately access and use the network without problems
