You will have access to: + Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of. + A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune. + A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists. **The Opportunity** This position works out of our **Warsaw, Poland office** at the BTS Business Technology Services Division. **What You’ll Do** Core Job Responsibilities: + Monitor individual queue to resolve routine and non-routine desktop issues and requests. + Achieve target ticket volumes and resolution levels. + Escalate issues as appropriate and act as a technical escalation point. + Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. + Comply with desktop group practices and procedures. + Update SNOW and other data repositories (e.g., knowledge base) in a timely manner. IT Directions from Management: + Implement project rollouts and meet deadlines. + Provide technical support to users on projects. + Set up test environments for user testing and conduct user trainings. Ensuring IS Standards and Policies: + Follow and implement Corporate IT standards and policies. + Update policies as per Corporate revisions. Protecting Company Data: + Ensure Data Security & Anti-Virus programs are updated on all systems. + Prevent unauthorized access to applications and data. + Maintain physical security systems. + Participate in the development of Business Impact Analysis and Disaster Recovery Plans. Systems Administration: + Perform hardware and software upgrades to meet business needs. + Troubleshoot hardware and software problems. IT Infrastructure: + Monitor network performance to ensure acceptable speed. + Upgrade network equipment as per Corporate direction. + Liaise with Corporate Helpdesk on issues and troubleshoot. BTS Systems: + Track activity with tickets in ServiceNow, Tangoe. + Support requests for Mobile Devices, AVPN, MS Teams Calling, etc. Other Responsibilities: + Support the annual IT Long Range System Plan preparation. + Manage IT Capital and Expenditures to stay within budget. + Acquire IT equipment, mobile devices, computers, notebooks, printers, etc. + Purchase software licenses from HQ for business use. + Prepare and maintain all IT documents up to date for audits. **Required Qualifications** + University degree preferably in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. + Preferably at least 4 years of IT experience + Communication: Clearly explain technical info to non-technical people. + Problem-Solving: Find creative solutions to complex issues. + Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with others. + Fluency in Polish and English Connect with us at www.abbott.com , on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Abbott and on Twitter @AbbottNews and @AbbottGlobal.
