Develops and provides recommendations regarding business process/performance improvements. * Serves as a consultant to management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures. * Serves as key customer contact for inquiries and resolution of customer issues. * Responsible for helpdesk requests from end users. * Responsible for equipment repairs and new equipment installs. * Responsible for software installs or software problems. * Is familiar with the hospital’s structured cabling system and is able to install cabling as needed. * Investigates and resolves issues related to PCs, telecommunications and printers. * Assists in maintenance of computer hardware and software. * Establishes and maintains a preventive maintenance program for PCs and printers. * Assists in development and maintenance of content on hospital’s intranet site. * Provides on-call support as scheduled. * Maintain and Support Nurse Call System. *_Education:_* High school diploma is required. Associate's Degree is strongly preferred. *_Experience:_* Minimum of one year of recent, relevant professional experience in the IT sector. Hospital IT experience is strongly preferred. *Skills:*Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
