Responsibilities You will lead cybersecurity testing and evaluation of software systems, applying advanced processes and techniques. You will design and assess security testing procedures for high-speed computing and communication systems. You will oversee the validation and verification of system security postures, ensuring compliance with federal and DOD requirements. You will manage and lead teams in executing cybersecurity projects, providing leadership on testing and evaluation initiatives. You will design and develop processes to independently validate cybersecurity measures for traditional and non-traditional systems. You will ensure the proper implementation of security certification methods in accordance with cybersecurity standards. You will regularly report on progress while managing complex cybersecurity assignments and collaborating with leadership as needed. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Lead AND/OR manage cybersecurity testing, evaluation, and validation of software and high-speed systems, ensuring compliance with DOD and Federal requirements while supporting authorization processes for system operations. Education N/A Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
