Summary You will serve as a Alternate-Information Systems Security Manager (A-ISSM), in the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), aligned to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Keyport Division of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA. Responsibilities You will be responsible for leading and providing enterprise level Cybersecurity (CS) programs and products. You will be responsible for the NAVY Risk Management Framework (RMF) Roles and Responsibilities of an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and be a backup to the project lead in a working capital fund organization. You will provide expert advice on the implementation of supporting technologies, including interpretation and review of proposals, plans, and specifications for applicable projects and programs. You will mentor junior level employees on RMF processes and analyzing cybersecurity risk. You will be responsible for the development of long-term Cyber Test and Evaluation strategy, test plans and procedures. You will maintain oversight over IT systems and applications, including the monitoring for security, system, or architecture changes that could impact the CS risk posture and accreditation status. You will execute and conduct continuous monitoring for all defense business applications in your purview. You will promote IT security awareness information to the end user community by encouraging and validating that applicable training and notifications are completed/read. You will be responsible for advising and resolving complex security issues, establishing, interpreting, and implementing the requirements of higher-level policy directives and executive orders concerning infrastructure protection. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and implementing strategies for testing and evaluating undersea cyber security information technology systems to ensure requirement compliance. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
