Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist  - MES System Developer to join our team to develop and maintain manufacturing execution system applications for our plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience in configuring/developing MES applications, and the ability to work with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What will you be doing?Design, develop, and maintain MES applications and software systems to meet client requirements and standards analyze and tackle software issues to ensure optimal system performance.Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Develop, maintain, and enforce coding standards and development best practices including but not limited to establishing naming conventions, requiring developers to add comments for functionality, code formatting, error handling, security, code re-use, application performance standards, version control, and documentation requirementsCollaborate with the project management team to develop project plans and timelines.Conduct code reviews to ensure alignment with standards and best practices.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the MES industry.Provide Technical Support to plants as needed.

To perform successfully in the role you need:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or a related fieldProven experience in software development (3 years)Experience installing, configuring/developing, and maintaining MES applications.Strong proficiency in programming languages such as VBS ( Visual Basic Script)Proficient user of MES frameworks such as Siemens-Opcenter Execution Medical Device (CAMSTAR) or Siemens-Opcenter Execution Pharma (XFP/Simatic-EBR) is a plus.Experience with SQL and database technologies such as OracleKnowledge of software development methodologies such as agile and waterfallStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience in the manufacturing industry.Experience with cloud-based MES solutions.Experience with IoT technologies and protocols is a plus.Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP.Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English.Openness for travel
