Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$22.50 - $26.50

Job Summary

The IT Specialist supports the organization's technical infrastructure, ensuring systems and devices operate efficiently and providing exceptional user support. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Ticket Management: Efficiently handle and resolve IT support tickets.  

User and Access Management: Manage user accounts in systems like Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Okta.  

Device Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS operating systems, and manage endpoint devices using tools like Intune and Mosyle.  

Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues using remote desktop tools.  

Security Awareness: Follow and enforce IT security protocols.  

Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of processes and issue resolutions.  

Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users.  

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing IT workflows and support strategies.  

After-Hours Support: Provide occasional support for critical issues outside of standard business hours.

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

 

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, technical certification, or equivalent experience preferred. 

1+ years of IT support experience preferred  

Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.   

Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, and ticketing systems like Jira.   

Basic understanding of networking concepts.   

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.   

Exceptional customer service skills with a collaborative approach.   

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.   

Strong attention to detail   

Proactive mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
