Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) of COMNAVREG SE JAX. Responsibilities You will coordinate capital investment information with portfolio management and information technology (IT) spending plans or budgets. You will establish a system of management controls to ensure information technology (IT) resources are efficiently managed. You will analyze current business plans and future technology assets to identify technological gaps. You will plan information technology (IT) knowledge management business processes (e.g., records management, configuration management) for an organization You will advise end users in the implementation of information technology (IT) strategy, policy, and guidance. You will develop an information technology (IT) project management plan using cost estimating templates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Demonstrates knowledge in acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing effort; 2) Demonstrates knowledge of contract administration, contract management, and contract terms; 3) Demonstrates knowledge of information technology (IT) acquisition/procurement requirements; 4) Demonstrates knowledge of service management concepts for networks and related standards (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library, current version [ITIL]); 5) Possesses knowledge of the organization's enterprise information technology (IT) goals and objectives; 6) Possesses knowledge of information technology (IT) supply chain security and risk management policies, requirements, and procedures; 7) Knowledge of secure acquisitions, secure procurement and supply chain risk management; 8) Demonstrates knowledge of applicable laws, statutes, Presidential Directives, executive branch guidelines, and/or administrative/criminal legal guidelines and procedures relevant to work performed; and 9) Performs strategic planning, cost benefit analysis, planning, programming, budgeting, execution, technical support and process improvement.
