Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities At the GS-09 and GS-11 you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the Full Performance Level (GS-12), you will perform the following: You will be responsible for the administration, updating, review, analysis, and maintenance for a server/client database. You will prepare and maintain database user accounts. You will provide operational support for the customized proprietary database specifically designed for Museum collections. You will be responsible for application troubleshooting. You will install and configure client software on workstations. You will respond to requests for guidance or assistance regarding implementation or interpretation of program requirements. You will identify potential or existing program or administrative problems and discrepancies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To Qualify for the GS-11 Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Supporting regional and installation users, providing alarm test results that show what events were sent from a specific alarm panel to the main server for alarm processing and historical recording. 2. Performing alarm system programming. 3. Monitoring alarm systems for malfunctions and use troubleshooting techniques to resolve alarm system malfunctions. 4. Ensuring alarm systems follow current regulations. **NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. Assisting higher-graded System Administrators with alarm system programming. 3. Assisting higher-graded System Administrators with monitoring of alarm systems for malfunctions and using troubleshooting techniques to resolve alarm system malfunctions. 4. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education: GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. GS-09: Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
