The IT Organization **Strategy and Operations Specialist** plays a pivotal role in partnering with both Global and Indian leadership across all levels to drive strategic initiatives and maximize value through data-driven decision-making. The responsibilities include defining the IT Organization strategy/roadmap in alignment with Global organizational objectives, defining plans for organization-wide initiatives/charters to deliver operational transformation/efficiencies, organizational design, and defining operating model/KPIs.
The role requires effective communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking and planning, market research, IT consulting, business acumen, the ability to solve organizational problems from people, process, innovation, and cost perspectives, and the ability to facilitate collaboration across levels.
+ **IT Organization Strategy and Execution** : Understand the organization’s growth plans and objectives. Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to inform strategic alignment, perform market research and understand trends/operating models, develop strategy and roadmaps, and define prioritization.
+ **Data Analysis:** Utilize data as a factual basis for decision-making and strategy development.
+ **Track Performance Metrics** : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and process improvements.
+ **Process Improvement** : Build a culture of continuous improvement and work with decision-makers to understand IT organizational goals, identify process gaps, and implement recommendations.
+ **Operations Transformation** : Leverage data-based strategies to define organizational goals, identify performance gaps, eliminate waste/reduce cost, advise on closing gaps, predict future demands, and lead operation transformation initiatives to deliver efficiencies.
+ **Organizational Design** : Ensure effective alignment of skills and responsibilities, spans and layers, governance, and communication across an organization
+ **Business Problem-Solving and Strategy Presentation:** Possess experience in understanding and solving real business problems by developing and presenting compelling business cases and strategic recommendations to the C-Suite.
+ **Organizational Assessment and Mapping:** Demonstrate expertise in conducting comprehensive assessments across various areas to provide the organization with a clear map of its current state and potential future directions.
+ **Root Cause Analysis and Issue Resolution:** Skilled in identifying and addressing the root causes of operational and strategic issues within organizational and governance structures.
+ **Organizational Design and Leadership:** Actively be a part of organizational design exercises with executives, leading initiatives to effectively deliver desired outcomes and enhance organizational effectiveness.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT Software Strategy and Consulting, or any other related field.
+ 8+ years of professional experience, with proven experience as a Strategy and Business Consultant in the IT Software Industry.
+ Experience working in the IT Software Global market with a deep understanding of software delivery maturity model & offshore GCC setup/trends and the competitive landscape.
+ Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
+ Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
+ Adept in networking, project management, and problem-solving.
+ Proven track record of delivering results.
