Job Description
This position functions as an IT student who will be assigned to work with and assist various Information Technology Project Coordinators in a wide range of professional assignments in an information technology project environment. The IT Student will acquire knowledge and skills to allow him/her to provide design, development, testing, maintenance and oversight of project schedules that are logic and resource driven to support project management and portfolio management activities. The IT student position will assist project managers in the creation and maintenance of project information utilizing the State of Michigan Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tool. This includes assisting PPM tool users with tool related issues, including problem analysis and resolution. This IT student position will also include assisting project managers in the management and tracking of projects, including project schedule management, issue management, change management, risk management, and project reporting.
