The IT Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations, planning, development, implementation and support of the Casino's Information Systems data center and communications systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring efficient maintenance and performance of systems. Ensure effectiveness of data center including security logs; verification that proper backups and restores take place, equipment maintenance and operating safety. Prepare, alter and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for all Hardware and Software applications. Coordinate equipment installation and maintenance activities with operations to avoid disruption in IT communications and systems to ensure efficiency of operations. Additional Duties Assist the IT manager with personnel tasks including, but not limited to: supervision, hiring, terminations, disciplinary action, exceptional performance notifications and evaluations. Assist in preparation and installation of software and peripheral devices. Apply and adhere to all administrative and organization internal controls to ensure continuous compliance within the enterprise. Use judgment and make decisions when faced with equipment failure, error conditions, and/or software problems. Contact vendors to arrange for bids, quotes, lease or purchase of equipment. Has access to sensitive areas only with presence of a Security Officer where applicable. Responsible for knowing all events in the property. Attend all mandatory meetings and training. Maintain confidentiality. Display sensitivity to Native American Culture. Operate within the parameters of the Little Creek Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations. Other duties may be assigned. S.I.G.E. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Education and/or Experience:
AA in Computer Science or AA in Computer Networking Three or more years’ experience in computer operations OR certification from technical school OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 or newer, Activity Directory, DNS, DHCP, VoIP phone systems, POS solutions, Player Tracking Systems, Basic understanding of Routing and Switching, and a firm understanding in Basic Hardware and Ethernet Standards, required.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Class III Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe’s insurance Must be at least 21 years of agePhysical Demands:
