Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an IT Support Specialist for one of its large retail clients in Brownsburg, IN. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting tier 1 hardware, software, and network related issues for internal users (retail locations, DC, Staff). Common issues may involve POS systems and back office computers. They will also be responsible for setting up accounts in Active Directory and setting up computers for new hires (including both imaging and physical set up). They will be expected to identify, diagnose, and resolve tickets in a timely manner, escalating to tier 2 or management when needed. They need to have experience troubleshooting in an onsite environment, including hands-on resolution of issues. This is a full-time role and compensation ranges from $20-$23 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Skills and Requirements
- Tier 1 support (Phone, email, in-person requests from internal users)
- Onsite hardware, software, networking support (connectivity/patching)
- Creating accounts in Active Directory and computer set up for new users (imaging/physical)
- Configuring and deploying new user desktop/laptops hardware, software, peripherals
- Troubleshooting experience and creating/updating documentation
- PC support and warehouse experience (tracking repairs, warranty information, inventory)
- Upgrading and troubleshooting applications and printers
- Great customer service and communication - Jira and Confluence (Jira used for ticketing)
- General warehouse experience (EX: warranty information, keeping track of scanners, inventory, toner replacement, etc.) null
