We are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team based in Macquarie Park, NSW. Reporting to the IT Business Partner, this primarily office based role is responsible for providing end user local site support (LSS) to ZEISS ANZ employees through the coordination of 1st level IT support and local service requests based of regional service delivery framework.

The products of Vision Care help correct eyesight and manage the progression of Myopia in children. Key responsibilities for this position includes (but are not limited to):
Provide both in person and remote IT support to ZEISS employees across ANZ.Conduct the installation and configuration of ZEISS IT systems and applications.Perform the maintenance and monitoring of IT device, equipment, networks, and systems.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software related issues, escalating issues that can’t be resolved locally.Process IT Tickets as per service delivery key performance indicator (KPI).Replace devices in accordance with local lifecycle policies and ensure devices are securely disposed of.Provide user and peer training, as and when required to assist in broadening the understanding of new technologies and IT procedures.The key skills required for this role include:
Previous experience working in an IT support environment.Sound understanding of Windows MS, remote desktop assistance, general PC hardware and software issues.High attention to detail and a solutions focused approach.Excellent time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.Previous experience with ITSM is an advantage.If you are a motivated IT professional looking to grow your IT experience, then we would like to hear from you.
