About the role
As the Team Manager you are to ensure the team meets SLA performance targets and drives glide paths towards KPIs. Ability to solve problems elegantly and enable other team members to do the same.
What you’ll be doing
IT Operations Management:
Supervise daily IT support for automotive factory operations. Manage a 25-member team on a 24/7 production schedule, including shift planning. Handle incident escalations and maintain IT asset documentation. Create, update, and enforce work instructions and workflows.Project Leadership:
Monitor and support team delivery of IT IMAC/projects (e.g., iOS, firmware, hardware updates). Coordinate new hardware installations with cross-functional teams. Ensure all projects are completed on time and cost-effectively.Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor IT technicians and engineers. Develop training programs to keep staff. Hosting 1:1 meetings on a regular schedule. (ability to manage a schedule and priorities that ensure meeting occur as scheduled is a high value skill) Hosting monthly group meetings to keep team informed. Able to maintain a calm Tone regardless of the situation or environment. (High value skill)Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
Work with external vendors for procurement and support. Serve as a liaison between factory operations, corporate IT, and customers.Monitoring and Reporting:
Track SLA/KPI performance. Track documentation accuracies in Asset Management Tool. Provide regular reports to FLS and Delivery management on operations and project progress.
What you have
Knowledge of factory automation technologies (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, robotics). Experience with industrial network protocols (e.g., Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). Proficient in ITIL framework and time management. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, build trust with team members, and develop high-performing teams. You must be authorized to work in the United States.
