IT Support Specialist

We are currently looking for a IT Support Specialist to join us at our facility in Mechelen.

The primary role of the IT Support Specialist is to provide software and hardware support to our international network of Color Coordinators, Importers, and VIP customers. This includes offering assistance via phone, remotely via team viewer, and through on-site visits for hardware installation, issue resolution, and training on software functions. The role also involves administrative support to the Color Automation team in implementing color projects and strategies, managing data publication processes, testing and approving hardware, analyzing customer data, and providing reports.

Key Responsibilities

Provide IT and administrative support, including customer visits and multi-country program management.Operate at an international level within an EMEA team, interacting with Team Color Coordinators and occasionally with management.Support continuous improvement activities, predictive system adaptations, and implement new program modules.Collaborate with colleagues in color and product management.Develop reporting tools to enhance planning processes and implement management decisions.Analyze customer issues and work with the team to improve software packages.Perform data analyses and create reports for various departments within Axalta.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience in IT support and projects.Proficient in modern IT technologies, including Windows operating systems, cloud-based systems, network setups, SQL, and API data exchanges.Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and within a team, under minimal supervision.Fluency in English and Dutch is mandatory; knowledge of French and German is advantageous.Experience managing projects and developing business requirements is advantageous.
