The IT Support Specialist II is focused on using technology to enable our staff, clubs, and programs to be more efficient, effective, and engaging so they can provide the greatest impact on the kids we serve. The IT Support Specialist will work on-site and remotely to support our staff, clubs, and programs throughout the Greater Milwaukee Area.
Responsibilities:
Monitor, prioritize, and triage new support ticketsSupport end-user devices (builds, troubleshooting, patches, apps, etc.)Support fleet of ChromebooksPrinter & Copier SupportEvent & Meeting Setup & SupportBasic LAN, WAN, & WIFI troubleshootingAdminister Active Directory Users & ComputersMaintain Asset InventoryOther duties as assigned by the Manager of IT
Experience:
Strong communication skills and a positive attitudeExperience supporting Microsoft Active Directory (User Administration, DNS Administration, DHCP Administration, Group Policy Administration)Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Office 365Ability to configure and provide basic troubleshooting for network devices (switches, WAPs, etc.)Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows 10, Windows 11Must have a valid WI driver’s license, a vehicle to be used for work, and meet state-required automobile insurance minimumsThis position is active and the employee will regularly be required to stand, walk, carry, climb, crouch, crawl, and carry or lift more than 50 pounds. As with all IT positions, after-hours and weekend availability will occasionally be required.
Education:
IT related Associates Degree OR comparable certifications/experience2-3 years of experience (3-5 without a degree)
