IT Support Specialist/Technician

The IT Support Technician’s mission is to provide hardware and software IT support for the site production lines.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

User/stakeholders assistanceTakes care of user requests and redirects them to the relevant people in the IT team or relevant IT team, or carries out the interventions itselfComplies with information system security instructionsSupporting shopfloor IT by sustaining the environment and work on incident resolutionDeploying new devices on the shopfloor (Computers / IOT devices / manufacturing devices with network capabilities)Keeping inventory of our assets up to date and manage their lifecycleDocumenting all activitiesCommunicates and inform users to understand the problems and resolve themProvides Guidance, information and user trainings if neededRegistration of new equipmentFollow-up of new equipmentLicense managementRepair and performs preventive maintenance of all computer equipmentManage spare parts

Manage daily operations:

backups and restoresdata archivingmaintenance of user configurations

What You Must Have

Technical knowledges:

Microsoft 365 environmentExperience with main types of cablingHardware and software equipment (PC’s, routers, hubs, switches, printers)Network protocols – working knowledge ofWindows based computing (from XP to 10)

Analytical capabilities:

To be able to diagnose the origin of a breakdown or malfunction, of network congestionAbility to do hardware configuration of networksAbility to perform network maintenanceFollow the On-site rulesFollow the safety instructions
