IT Support Specialist/Technician

As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing hardware and software support for site production lines.
What You Will Do
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
User & Stakeholder Support:
Address user requests and escalate them when necessaryEnsure compliance with information system security protocolsCommunicate effectively with users to diagnose and resolve IT issuesProvide guidance, information, and user training when requiredTechnical & Shopfloor IT Support:
Maintain and troubleshoot shopfloor IT environments and resolve incidentsDeploy new devices, including computers, IOT devices, and manufacturing equipmentManage IT asset inventory and lifecycle trackingRegister and follow up on new equipmentHandle licence managementPerform preventive maintenance and repairs on IT equipmentManage spare parts and replacementsDaily IT Operations Management:
Oversee backups, restores, and data archivingMaintain user configurations and ensure smooth system operationsWhat You Must Have
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 environmentKnowledge of main cabling typesExperience with hardware and software troubleshooting (PCs, routers, hubs, switches, printers)Understanding of network protocolsFamiliarity with Windows-based computing (XP to 10)Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose and resolve network or hardware issuesCapability to configure and maintain network infrastructureStrong adherence to on-site rules and safety instructionsWhat You Can Expect
