Job Description:
The ideal candidate serves as a senior-level technical resource responsible for maintaining computer system continuity, providing advanced technical support, and ensuring optimal performance of computing assets. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer service excellence to support our customer's technology needs.
The candidate performs the following specific assignments:Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issuesInstall, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripheralsDiagnose and resolve complex technical problemsManage new hire system setups and equipment deploymentMonitor and maintain IT inventory and asset management systemsHandle escalated support tickets and complex technical issuesDocument technical solutions and maintain knowledge baseImplement preventive maintenance proceduresSupport infrastructure projects and system upgradesProvide after-hours support as needed Experience Required:Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field3-5 years of progressive IT support experienceProven track record of resolving complex technical issuesStrong documentation and communication skillsExperience with help desk ticketing systemsHardware repair and maintenance expertiseExperience Desired:Experience with Oracle Cloud configuration and setupAbility to travel to DoD sites as neededExperience with DoD documentation requirementsKnowledge of federal acquisition regulationsUnderstanding of cybersecurity requirementsAbility to obtain and maintain security clearanceSpecial Skills/Knowledge/Training Required/Desired:CompTIA A+CompTIA Network+Microsoft Certified ProfessionalApple Certified Support ProfessionalITIL Foundation Benefits:Medical, Dental, and Vision  Short Term Disability (at no cost to you) and Long Term DisabilityLife Insurance  Flex Spending Accounts (FSA)401(k) Savings Plan  Tuition Assistance Program  Professional DevelopmentPaid Time Off (PTO)  11 Federal Holidays each year  SimIS, Inc. is an AA / EOE / M / F / Disability / VET / Drug Free Employer
