IT Systems Administrator

The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. In this role, you will report to the IT Systems Manager.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Serves as the project coordinator and main point of contact for the IT department

Configuration, troubleshooting, and support of Windows client systems, VoIP systems, network routers & firewalls, corporate anti-virus, MS Office 365 suite, MS Dynamics GP, and Tableau/SQL Server BI reporting environments

Provides excellent internal and external customer service by exhibiting the aptitude and desire to respond quickly, drill-down and find root causes, and follow-through with solutions to minimize disruption in user productivity

Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for resolving all IT software, hardware, and network connectivity issues

Level 1 technical support related to issues with desktops, laptops, thin clients, multi-function printers, smart phones and devices including Apple iPhones, Apple iPads, Samsung Galaxy tablets

Manage and maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing, and work with management to ensure that systems and software are accurately recorded, tracked, and retired as necessary

Work with software and hardware vendors to facilitate procurement, manage patching & upgrades, and test and deploy productions systems to support operations

Research relevant technology trends and provide guided recommendations for cost-effective solutions that provide the organization with a competitive advantage and increased productivity

Coordinate system upgrades, maintain optimal performance and routine testing of system fail over, as well as ensuring appropriate levels of system redundancy are maintained

Perform the above responsibilities while ensuring HIPAA compliance

Performs regularly scheduled on-call duties as required

Attains goals as set forth in annual performance evaluation

Consistently meets deadlines for assigned projects

Performs all other duties and projects as assigned


Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Experience supporting Windows, Networking, and productivity/back-office software required

A hunger for learning with the ability to pick-up concepts and technologies and absorb and implement them consistently in the manner expected by the manager

Strong internal and external customer-service skills

Willingness to grow and develop new skills while helping create solutions to support growth and expansion into new territories and markets

Enthusiasm and the ability to have a good time, while building your skills, developing comradery with your co-workers, and being great at what you do

Experience/certification in Healthcare and/or HIPAA compliance (preferred)

A+/Network+ Certifications and/or vocational training (preferred)


Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

Associates in Computer Science or a related field

Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 / salary
