IT Systems Administrator
Job Summary:
Our client in San Francisco, CA is looking for an IT Systems Administrator. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
Responsible for supporting and maintaining Slack and collaboration VW Technology Group workspaces. Serve as a technical expert for the VW Technology Group, and custom slack applications while enforcing best practices and standards. Have an in depth understanding of SaaS integrations. Be a leader on tool usage, standard methodologies / frameworks and implementation. Document technical solutions that align with enterprise objectives. Ensure consistent performance and be a trusted support and escalation point for technical issues. Provide scheduled and ad-hoc demos and trainings of all apps and workflows including custom apps and workflows. Communicate and collaborate with external teams for support. Monitor and help resolve Service Now escalations and queues.What You Will Need:
Basics:
5+ years of experience with SaaS. 5+ years of experience with Slack. Ability to support 3rd party add-ons and integrations. Process oriented mindset. Experience in the enablement of enterprise-level processes using tools such as Slack workflows, forms, APPs and APIs. Experience configuring and supporting integrations using development tools such as Python, PowerShell, Java Script and Postman. Conceptual practice and understanding of SDLC, ITIL and Agile frameworks. Technical understanding of common networking terms and tools. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables at any given time through effective time-management and planning. Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, attention to quality and detail, and a collaborative attitude. Salary range: 74k - 102k annual.Preferred:
Slack Admin or Slack Developer certifications highly preferred. Experience with custom Slack Bot and Slack apps development.How You Will Be Successful:
