In this role you will:
Oversee daily IT operations in our R&D test facilities and our operational global install base, ensuring system reliability, compliance, and performance. Drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to enhance the reliability, maintainability, and securability of our global install base. Respond to and take the lead on incidents and outages following best practices to restore our customers' operations. Automate the configuration of system components according to the requirements of the project.Join us in shaping the future of rail systems with your expertise.
Your qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, etc.) is a plus. Experience in administering IT systems, including Linux operating system management, user, log, storage, and security management with Linux server hardening and firewall configuration. Extensive experience in configuring network-connected equipment and performing fault investigations. Experience with various flavors of Linux operating systems, commissioning, and sustaining systems, mainly Debian and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Experience deploying Linux servers via virtual environments and containerized application environments such as Docker.
