IT Systems Administrator
GoPuff
Gopuff is seeking a seasoned IT Systems Administrator to support our platform as we provide a world wide delivery service. Your primary responsibility will be to support Gopuff systems, applications and infrastructure. This role requires triaging and prioritizing requests and helping design and implement the support system. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
The challenge of this role is around the breadth of goPuff’s internal needs as well as our rapid growth. As a vertically integrated company our systems include warehouse management systems, driver delivery apps, financial systems, and of course printers that continually run out of cyan.
We are biased towards action and your actions will matter. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering consistently great experiences within our growing IT team. Good work will improve our customers' lives by giving them back precious time in their day.
This position reports to the IT Manager.
ResponsibilitiesSupport our supportive and inclusive culture while driving excellence in executionBe the go-to person for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining Gopuff’s nationwide internal network infrastructureEnsure the efficiency, reliability and security of the Gopuff IT infrastructureDefine Gopuff’s network access rules and assess access to cloud infrastructureStay abreast of security threats and vulnerabilitiesEnsure network performance meets stakeholder requirements for a 24/7 support structureRespond to and resolve all issues with Gopuff infrastructure to ensure the highest level of availability possibleTroubleshoot and resolve remote hardware, software, and network issuesIdentification and triage of incidentsFollow Gopuff's technology delivery practices, standards, project management disciplines.Communicate status updates with key stakeholders during major incidentsBe flexible. Be willing to learn. We're growing and we need you to grow with us
Requirements3-5 years of experience in a System Administration, Network Administration or related roleKnowledge of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Switching Routing)Experience managing/supporting SD-WAN environments (Cisco Meraki preferred)Experience with cloud based productivity suites (Google Workspace, Office 365)Experience documenting resolutions for entry to the Knowledge BaseUnderstanding of Endpoint Configuration Management Concepts (Intune, JAMF, KACE)Experience with Identity Management Concepts (G Suite, Azure, Okta, Active Directory)Familiarity with Cloud Environments (eg. Azure, AWS, Meraki)Experience with Incident Management Tools (eg. Jira, Freshservice)CompTIA A+/Network+ is a positiveAt Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable.
