The System Analyst supports the technical-team-leads in the day-to-day IT operations of end-user computing and security. This role involves collaboration with internal service owners, IT management, business units, and vendors to ensure compliance with published policies, procedures, and business requirements. This position will provide both level one and two support. The Systems Analyst will spearhead the advancement of end-user computing and virtual desktop lifecycles, driving innovation and efficiency in these critical areas.  

 

This position reports to and works closely with the Solutions Architect to support the growing infrastructure. It also presents an excellent opportunity to develop system administration and virtual infrastructure skills and knowledge, while playing a crucial role in supporting various cloud-based applications and services.

Responsibilities Utilize the IT Service Management application to log, monitor, and track customer requests and incidents. Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual hardware and software. Assist with administration, monitoring, and support for physical, virtual, and hosted infrastructure. Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users. Contribute to continued service improvements (CSI) and the seven-step improvement process: Identify, Define the problem, Data gathering, Data processing, Information analysis, Presentation, and Implementation. Keep management informed of technical trends and emerging technologies through reports, dashboards, and presentations. Assist with asset management systems and procedures for issued devices. Collaborate with Information Security to ensure infrastructure, applications, and other technical assets remain secure. Triage and respond to automated alerts related to the IT environment. Maintain software installation instructions and cross-train with other technical staff to ensure continuity of services and assume higher-level responsibilities. Assign incidents and ServiceNow cases to technical team members. Perform other functions as assigned.   Qualifications

Education / Experience

 

Bachelor's in computer science or information systems or equivalent work experience preferred1 or more years as a technology professional 

 

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Microsoft Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11 PowerShell scripting (highly desirable)  Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) (a plus) Nutanix (a plus) ServiceNow (a plus)  Maximum Salary USD $90,000.00/Yr.
