Job Description

In this role, you will be involved in evaluation, testing and implementation of IT infrastructure systems to support PSI business processes and operations.

Based in Tokyo, Japan

You will:  

Maintain, upgrade and improve company IT infrastructure systems and networksDesign new computer systems and frameworksManage the set-up and configuration of IT infrastructure systems including Azure/MS 365/Microsoft Exchange/ MS Teams and its integrationsDevelop and implement maintenance procedures, troubleshoot reported errorsOptimize and maintain LAN and WANOptimize and maintain backup and restore processesInstall, configure and maintain server (HP/HPE) and network (Cisco) hardwareTranslate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirementsCreate IT guidelines and manualsDeliver trainings on IT infrastructure system processes

QualificationsUniversity Degree in Computer Science or the likeFull working proficiency in EnglishExpert knowledge and experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP routing and switching on Cisco CCNA or greater level (certification is a plus)Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory (including ADFS, PKI)Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Microsoft Exchange in high-available and hybrid configurationsExperience with SCCM and/or ServiceNowCloud solution experienceBasic administration of Linux serversExperience in setting up centralized monitoring and logging systems (Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios/Icinga etc.)Experience with Veeam BackupExperience in managing HP/HPE hardware and VMware vCenter serversKnowledge of virtualization concepts and practical hands-on experience on VMware Certified Professional level (certification is a plus)Experience in designing, implementing and managing complex IT infrastructure projectsAbility to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutionsAbility to document and maintain detailed technical documentation and procedures
