**Job Description:**
Tri-State's Infrastructure and Operations team is responsible for many functions of IT, from hardware, to operating system, automation, application administration, databases, cloud platforms, and networks. There are no limits or barriers. Everyone pitches in to run world-class infrastructure that delivers our corporate systems.
This role is responsible for support, maintenance, systems architecture, and security, along with deploying systems and supporting peer developers. Seeking experience in support of Server OS's, Databases, Azure, and strong scripting skills
**Note:**
There are three positions available and the positions will be filled at one of four job grade levels: IT Systems Engineer I, job grade 7; IT Systems Engineer II, job grade 8, IT Systems Engineer III, job grade 9; or Senior IT Systems Engineer, job grade 10. This decision will be based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected, and Tri-State business needs at the time of hire.

**Senior IT Systems Engineer**
Hiring Salary Range: $106,000-135,000
**IT Systems Engineer III**
Hiring Salary Range: $96,000-$121,000
**IT Systems Engineer II**
Hiring Salary Range: $86,000-$108,000
**IT Systems Engineer I**
Hiring Salary Range: $77,000-$96,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary outside of the posted hiring salary range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for maintaining and advancing cloud and on prem datacenter technologies.
+ Act as lead for CIP/SOX environments and assist with audits as needed.
+ Develop and present architectural strategy, including technology standardization and modernization of enterprise, data center and data security infrastructure.
+ Use and lead with automation to support key infrastructure processes for application restarts, patching, always with security and compliance at the forefront.
+ Teach, lead and create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, technology dependency mapping, and processes.
+ Proactively identify and address reliability issues in our IT infrastructure through ITIL methodologies.
+ Demonstrate and lead ongoing communications with all data center and infrastructure stakeholders and help with communications to business users when necessary.
+ Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and attain knowledge and remain knowledgeable of regulations, laws, standards, and best practices applicable to functional area.
+ Because Tri-State has an obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to its customers, the ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week is considered an essential function of the job.
**OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can perform all of the essential functions of the position.
+ Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time on an annual basis. (Possession of a current valid driver's license or ability to obtain).
+ Ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week including On call 24x7 rotation with coverage required 6 times per year.
+ Must be able to physically deploy data center devices.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
Education and Training
+ Bachelor?s Degree in business, science, technology or other related area.
+ Scripting skills a plus in Powershell, SQL, Ansible, Terraform
+ Self-motivated and driven to continuously improve how things are today
+ Proven success in maintaining, updating systems monitoring in complex network with popular industry standard monitoring tools
+ IT Security Certifications (CompTIA+, SANS or equivalent) and demonstrate understanding of security risk management. CISSP a plus.
+ Understanding and Use ITIL Standards on a daily basis and look to improve processes to make more compliant and efficient.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
+ Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
+ Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
+ Expertise in day-to-day operations of a diverse infrastructure
+ Strong skills in written and verbal communications, relating technical aspects to management and end-users.
