We are seeking a Network Engineer with experience in global WAN connectivity, LAN switching, and wireless networking. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cisco routing and switching, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Firepower.
In this role, you will manage and support our global network, enhancing its performance and reliability for Donaldson locations in over 40 countries. You will collaborate with the global team and may need to be available after hours for support and meetings across different time zones.
Key Accountabilities:
Implement networking technologies globally
Act as 3rd level support for global incident resolution in the event issues cannot be solved by the service desk or field services.
On site networking support, including racking and cabling networking hardware.
Responsible for network reporting and metrics to manage growth and performance.
Work with APAC Business Relationship Manager to understand new business initiatives and address regional issues.
Participate in an after-hours on call rotation to manage business impacting incidents outside of regular business hours.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in IT & Science or a closely related field (required)
Leadership Competence:
Self-motivated and result orientated.
Technical Competence & Skills:
Cisco routing and switching
Cisco firewalls
Infoblox DNS appliances
F5 Load balancers
Cisco Call Manager and associated call systems
Understanding of routing protocols, such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
Extensive knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
Experience with QoS and an understanding of traffic prioritization best practices.
Experienced with Cisco routing and switching, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower.
Critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
Good documentation skills and ability to communicate with peers in IT and with the business.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
